Towkio released his latest EP, Community Service 2, last month. One of the highlights of that album was his collaboration with comrade-in-arms, Joey Purp, on the single “Playin Fair.” In it, Towkio and Purp trade jubilant rhymes about the enjoyment of their recent successes over an agile and slinky beat.
This week, the video for “Playin Fair” came out. The video is a simple affair. Towkio and Purp charismatically hold court during a street basketball game with Vic Mensa as skateboarders do simple tricks like pop shove-its and excited streetballers show off their skills by repeatedly slam dunking with the greatest of ease.
