Free People Opens on Randolph in Sparkly Spring Fashion

IMG_8768 Free People opened its doors on Randolph Street last week, marking the seventh Chicago area location of the Boho-inspired women's fashion line. The brand, which sells apparel, shoes, accessories, and cosmetics, features an eclectic feminine vibe with an artsy nature-infused spirit. IMG_8773In signature Free People fashion, the Randolph store is full of crafty decor: airy flower cut-outs stream down from the ceilings; sparkly orbs of wire and metallic fragments don the space around clothing displays; playful shapes dance along the walls in colorful waves; and, a custom of all their locations,  a special "Free People" sign on the wall, this one composed of bright cursive letters surrounded by a burst of sparkly mosaic pieces. Free People is not just a product line, but a lifestyle brand. Filled with delicately woven tops, flowing dresses, lacy accessories, and wander-ready shoes, Free People in all about living expressively, approaching life with a creative mind and a heart open for adventure. The Randolph Street store celebrated its grand opening last Thursday with hors d'oeuvres, sparkling beverages, and giveaways. Guests were greeted with the warm welcomings of its friendly stylists and managers, all donning the Free People style. The Randolph location not only offers goods from the brand's main line, but is the only Chicago store that has clothes from its Movement collection of stylish go-to active wear, and its Beauty & Wellness line of natural products ranging from lotion to eye makeup.  The location also has a showroom upstairs where new items are brought in to show for wholesale.
