If you’ve never heard of Treehouse Records, you’ve probably listened to some of the bands they’ve recorded. Besides recording full-length records with Chicago bands like Twin Peaks, they’ve also taped live sessions with Consequence of Sound — including The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Jr., Cage the Elephant, Jeff The Brotherhood, and The Orwells — and they've recorded one-offs too, like with the recent Whitney cover “You’ve Got a Woman” or Cherry Glazerr’s “Hot Cheetos and Wine” for the Our First 100 Days project.
They’re a two team-man team who work all around the clock. After more than three years of building onto their business, they’ve honed their all-analog studio to give new bands a classic, crisp feel.
In a city that has cultivated Twin Peaks, Whitney, Angel Olsen, The Orwells, The Walters, NE-HI, and so many more recent, talented artists — to say nothing of the music community outside of rock — Joe Bordenaro & The Late Bloomers and The Evening Attraction are just two recent exciting examples of Chicago’s ongoing musical renaissance.

And, given the track record of Treehouse’s previously recorded bands, you might want to see them here in town now before their tours get bigger (and the tickets more expensive) down the line.
