Another summer weekend behind us, another festival done. While I sat out Lollapalooza this year, I'm sure many are still recovering from the unusually cool temps and exercise darting between stages during the four-day fest. Everyone's Picasso 50th Anniversary Celebration @ Richard J. Daley Center, 50 W Washington St., Noon - 1:00PM
WHAT: It’s the anniversary of one of Chicago’s most recognizable landmarks
SO WHAT: DCASE will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Chicago Picasso at “Everyone’s Picasso” with a restaging of the 1967 unveiling. While the work was originally met with mixed reviews, the Picasso has become a Chicago icon attracting visitors from around the world. For more info on this great restaging festivity,
