We’re making some changes as we begin our third year. (Third Coast Review went live on January 8, 2016.) We value your interest in our arts and culture coverage and we’re expanding it a bit: we’re adding a new page devoted to games and technology and beginning coverage of general local news. You’ll also see a slightly different look on our home page soon.
Antal
Our new page—Games & Tech—will be edited by Antal Bokor, who has been writing our terrific game reviews. Games & Tech is being split off from the Screens page, which will now focus on films and TV. Lisa Trifone continues as Screens page editor, with Steve Prokopy as our lead film critic.
Antal plans to cover video games, tabletop/board games, mobile apps and anything that falls under the category of technology, with an eye for the unique and noteworthy. He’ll look at local developers and creators, trends and events through the community, and examine games with a focus on their cultural and artistic value.
On the news side, we’re adding a new regular feature called Third Coast Today, which will provide curated local news we think you’ll be interested in. You’ll find it in the new right-hand column, next to our popular 3CR’s Favorite Events feature. Watch for the first edition of Third Coast Today soon.

Aaron Cynic, a veteran Chicago journalist and photographer, will be Third Coast Today’s editor, with help from Elif Geris, who has been a music reviewer for 3CR for some time.
Aaron and Elif will post a new edition of Third Coast Today every morning, Monday-Friday.
The look of Third Coast Review will change slightly to create room for Third Coast Today. We're basically just rearranging the furniture on our home page, but we hope you find it readable and interesting. Let us know what you think by posting a comment here or on our
