Sam’s Club Closing Six Locations in Chicago Area

Walmart is closing 63 of its Sam's Club locations nationwide in an effort to keep a balance between physical stores and online retail hubs. Six of the warehouse clubs closing are in the Chicago area: Batavia, Romeoville, Naperville, Streamwood, Matteson and Wheeling plus Moline in the Quad Cities area. Some locations will be converted to e-commerce facilities (Chicago Tribune).
