Slow treadmill. Good music to, like, brush your teeth to. Precise but vigorous. And we weren't wrong! Fujiya & Miyagi are dependable. There are no curve balls. Everything is understated but wholly groovy. It is the sound of a thousand indie dudes bobbing their head. Which is fun! If you're an indie dude. Or an adorably cute and dorky photographer. Which is also not a bad thing! But! The room was also packed with girls dancing. (And dudes.) And that is never a bad thing either! What I'm saying is the band may be somewhat anodyne, but sometimes that is conducive to a good party. Would I see them again? Hell yes. My friend had a smile plastered on her face the whole time and I don't think you can ask for much more that that.
