Third Coast Review was launched in January 2016 by a half dozen writers who had been writing for Gapers Block and hated to see it go on hiatus. But we wanted to keep writing about the Chicago arts and culture scene so we decided to start up our own site. Since then, we’ve been joined by ~25 more writers and we’ve published more than 2300 reviews and previews and hundreds more calendar items about Chicago’s great theater, dance, music, visual arts, books, films, games and tech, food, museums and more.
