THURSDAY, OCTOBER 18th
Courtney Barnett & Waxahatchee @ Riviera Theatre, 4746 N Racine Ave., 6:30pm, 18+
WHAT: Only the best musicians doing their thing at the Riviera Theatre
SO WHAT: Courtney Barnett must be experienced live. Her raw intensity is unparalleled and thanks to her latest album Tell Me How You Really Feel, Barnett has solidified her rock star status. Joining her will be the equally talented Waxahatchee, Katie Crutchfield's amazing musical project!

WHAT: BYOB drawing in a toy store/gallery
SO WHAT: Blake Jones will be hosting a fun evening of drawing, sketching and doodling! You can participate in the creative outlet while enjoying your favorite adult beverages, BYOB. No matter what skill level you reside at, all are welcome!
NOW WHAT: Grab your favorite drink of choice and enjoy it responsibly while partaking in some creativity!
FRIDAY, OCTOBER, 19th
Darwin Deez & Soren Bryce @ Subterranean, 2011 W North Ave., 9:00pm, 17+
WHAT: Two great musicians performing Downstairs at Subt!
SO WHAT: Darwin Deez may best be known for his hit single “Radar Detector” and self-titled debut album, but ever since then Deez has been making some of the most unique and catchy pop tunes. His latest album 10 Songs That Happened When You Left Me With My Stupid Heart continues this with amazing songwriting and sparse instrumentation. Joining him will be the amazing voice of Soren Bryce!

Crypt-Tease 2018 @ The Playground Theater, 3209 N Halsted St, 11:40pm, 21+
WHAT: A night of spooky burlesque
SO WHAT: BimBamBoom presents Crypt-Tease, an evening of Halloween-themed performances from burlesque beauties, boylesque studs, comedic superstars, amazing magicians and more!
NOW WHAT: Tickets are $20 or $25 for front row action! Tickets will be available at the door and are cash only! Patrons must be over the age of 18 and the venue is BYOB.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20th & 21st
18th Street Pilsen Open Studios @ Various Locations, Noon - 8:00pm, All ages
WHAT: The 16th Annual, 18th Street Pilsen Open Studios!
SO WHAT: Pilsen Open Studios is an annual art walk independently produced by local artists and volunteers. You can check out their map of all the locations participating in the event! If you're more interested in a guided tour of the colorful and significant murals in Pilsen head to the National Museum of Mexican Art at 1852 W. 19th St. at 2:00pm each day!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20th
Windy City Soul Club @ The Empty Bottle, 1035 N Western Ave., 8:30pm, 21+
WHAT: The best soul dance party in Chicago
SO WHAT: Windy City Soul Club has been throwing down amazing tunes for Chicagoans to dance their nights away for quite a while and have never disappointed. Armed with turntables and a never ending stream on warm vinyl, WCSC DJs dig through every type of Soul you could imagine. Northern Soul, Motown-style gems, regional hits, the best dancing tunes, and classics that will have you singing along at the top of your lungs.

WHAT: Pachanga, DURO, y Pum Pum come together to present on both floors of SubT
SO WHAT: This great event will highlight Chicago’s amazing UrbanX talent and presenting an alternative night of dancing and enjoyment. A safe space, a fun space focusing on the best transitions in sonic art!

SUNDAY OCTOBER 21st
Flea Market @ Hideout, 1354 W Wabansia Ave., 11:00am - 4:00pm, All Ages
WHAT: A family friendly event at one of our favorite venues in the city!
SO WHAT: Everyone loves a good flea market! Hideout employees and some guests will be selling their personal treasures, such as vintage clothing, records, music gear, kitchen stuff, house goods, tools, and even some arts and crafts. There will be drinks available for purchase! Don’t miss it!

Bloodshot TapRoom Takeover! @ Lagunitas Tap Room, 2607 W 17th St, Noon - 9:00pm, 21+
WHAT: Bloodshot Records’ Pop-Up Record Store
SO WHAT: In addition to Bloodshot’s Pop-Up Record Store with all their awesome goodies, Lagunitas will be tapping its two-year-old Olde Gnarley Wine Ale that’s only gotten gnarlier. It’s big, boozy and bodacious, best served for this Bloodshot’s Bash! DJs will be playing Bloodshot Records label artists throughout the day with local, Jon Langford playing at 6pm.

WHAT: Shop some of the strange and spiritual with the weirdest Chicago has to offer
SO WHAT: Over 40 artists will set up shop in a market-in-the-round replete with a live sideshow full of wonderful performers, music, tarot, palmistry, drinks, giveaways and more!
