WHAT: The last weekend of the nation’s largest auto show
SO WHAT: A car lover’s favorite annual tradition is back as the Chicago Auto Show giving you chance to check out what’s new in the world of automobiles! With 100s of different vehicles on display ranging from concept cars, soon to be available consumer vehicles, competition vehicles, and collector cars, the auto show is always a treat. Check out their website for a taste at what will be on the floor!
NOW WHAT: Tickets are $13 for adults, $7 for seniors (62+) and children (7-12). Children 0-6 enter for free!
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 14th
Village of Love: Panache's Annual Planned Parenthood Valentine's Day Benefit @ Lincoln Hall, 2424 N Lincoln Ave, 6:00pm, 18+
WHAT: Amazing music for a fantastic cause
SO WHAT: This wonderful event, which has taken place for 7 years annually, will expand to Chicago for the first time with an amazing lineup of celebrated musicians from Chicago performing their own original work as well as their favorite covers. You’ll be able to hear Jeff Tweedy, Deeper, Tasha, Pool Holograph, VV Lightbody, Knox Fortune, Gia Margaret, Femdot, and Title TK playing some amazing tunes all night long for what is sure to be a memorable Valentine’s Day show!
NOW WHAT: Tickets for this benefit are $35. All proceeds benefit Planned Parenthood of Chicago.

WHAT: A chance to dance the night away
SO WHAT: Need something to add a ton of fun to you’re Valentine’s Day plans? Then look no further as The Knocks and their irresistible electronic jams will be putting on a magnificent show at Concord Music Hall. You’ll be dancing and grooving along to Ben “B-Roc” Ruttner and James “JPatt” Patterson’s exquisite soundscapes .Joining them will be the chill vibes of Young & Sick and Blu DeTiger‘s infectious voice that weaves intricate electronic music and insane bass sounds together in a unique and masterful way.

FRIDAY & SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15th & 16th
The Chicago Pancake & Booze Art Show @ Reggies, 2105 S State St, 8:00pm - 2:00am, 21+
WHAT: The breakfast, booze and art party celebrates its 10th anniversary!
SO WHAT: Pancakes & Booze is an underground art event that aims to delight attendees with a mix all things art, booze, and of course pancakes. There will be over 100 emerging artists displaying their art as well as live body painting happening throughout the night. Between perusing the art you can dance the night away with DJs and live music or head to the free pancake bar for, you guessed it, pancakes.
NOW WHAT: Tickets are $10 at the door or $15 for VIP entrance to skip the line at the door!
Takashi Miike’s Audition @ Music Box Theatre, 3733 N Southport Ave, 11:00pm
WHAT: What better way to spend Valentine’s Day weekend than with a blood boiling horror movie
SO WHAT: Audition is one of the most intense horror movies you’ll ever see. It's a slow burn kind of film that will creep into your brain and haunt you well after the ending. The film follows a recent widower, who on the advice of a film company colleague, stages “auditions” for a new girlfriend that masquerade as an acting job. Audition flips stereotypes and is one of the more interesting films in the horror genre.

SATURDAY& SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16th & 17th
Logan Arcade’s 5th Birthday Party Weekend! @ Logan Arcade, 2410 W Fullerton Ave, Noon - 10:00pm, 21+
WHAT: Five years of drinks and games!
SO WHAT: Logan Arcade will be celebrating their 5th Anniversary all weekend long! Saturday will feature $5 drink specials & free pinball all day long followed by DJs Jivan Ivan & the Mighty Djan starting at 8pm! Then on Sunday, DJ Jivan Ivan’s Sweet Soulful Sunday will be going on from 1pm – 5pm! Plus Sunday is the grand opening of Reuben Kincaid’s Marzcade – a collaboration between Logan Arcade and Marz Community Brewing in Bridgeport! This ‘satellite arcade popup Marzcade’ at Marz will be open to the public, and there will be a van transporting folks & friends between the two locations every hour-ish from noon until 8pm!

WHAT: A little bit of brunch and architecture
SO WHAT: Need something a little different for your brunch? Thalia Hall has brought back their architectural tours during brunch every third Saturday of the month! Fill up on some Michelin-starred food before or after you embark on their 11am tour of the building's rich architectural history .

WHAT: An evening of loud and excellent music
SO WHAT: Some local bands, some touring acts, all ready to will satisfy your all your heavy music needs. Dark Fog will be bringing their intense psychedelic rock, the easy to get lost in dreamscapes of Balms, Diagonal‘s immersive shoegaze vibes, and Bow & Spear unrelenting post hardcore sound! Seriously, this is going to be a noisy and undoubtedly enjoyable show!

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 17th
An Afternoon with Two Award-Winning Authors @ Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E Washington St., 1:00pm - 3:00pm, All Ages
WHAT: Two literary greats in discussion
SO WHAT: Join the Chicago Writers Association for an afternoon with two of Chicago’s most distinguished authors, Stuart Dybek and Dominic Pacyga. They will be discuss their journey as writers, their works, their craft and writing about Chicago. Audience participation will be encouraged.
NOW WHAT: This event is free and open to the public, but you must reserve a seat to attend.
TIME | SPACE Jazz Series @ Freehand Chicago, 19 E Ohio St, 6:00pm - 8:00pm, 21+
WHAT: Some excellent music to help end your weekend the right way
SO WHAT: Every Sunday at Broken Shaker you will be hearing some of the best psychadelic jazz in the city, brought to you in two 45 minute sets played by a different trio every week.
