Love indie games? Want to play some indie games that have been developed right here in Chicago? Well, Bit Bash and Emporium Arcade Bar Logan Square is giving you that chance. Starting tomorrow through Friday, you’ll have the chance to play four games that have been developed locally—including two that aren’t even released yet.
Starting tomorrow night at 5pm you can play the unreleased Onsen Master (which we covered at this year’s Playtest Party at Logan Theatre) and Cosmo’s Quickstop (another Playtest Party alum). While both are management games, they both of their own unique, colorful art style and series of quirky interactions that make them worth checking out.
Slamdoku and KMG: Kiss More Girls Tournament are both multiplayer games, but they’re extremely different from each other. Slamdoku is a reimagining of Sudoku as a fighting game—and somehow, it works. KMG: Kiss More Girls Tournament is a collection of multiplayer sports mini-games with a twist: (hint, most of the games involve kissing.) It’s a fun collection, consisting of fun games with names like Tonsil Hockey (ice hockey, with kissing) and Johann Sebastian Fuck (which is sort of like sumo wrestling, but with the aim of pushing your “crush” out of the ring.)
