DoomCo Designs & Galerie F Present: Survive! @ Galerie F, 2415 N Milwaukee Ave, 6:00pm -10:00pm, 21+
WHAT: DoomCo Designs is proud to announce its first ever gallery exhibition, at Chicago’s own Galerie F!
SO WHAT: DoomCo Designs has created an immersive experience that focuses on the world’s first product and toy designed entirely in virtual reality (Oculus Medium), Tarbus the Tardigrade! All are welcome to examine the trials and tribulations of an immortal tardigrade grasping for meaning in the world. The exhibition will feature a new sculpture and laser cut works by DoomCo Designs, a slew of contributed artworks, and incredible customized tardigrades from an all-star lineup of toy modifiers, illustrators, and other artists! Libations will be provided by Crook & Marker and the late night beats by Mojek!

The Poetry Brothel: All Saints & Sinners @ The Den Theatre, 1331 N Milwaukee Ave, 7:00pm - 11:00pm, 21+
WHAT: The Poetry Brothel is an interactive poetry experience set up as a 19th-century brothel. Character poets offer private, one-on-one readings of their original work in candlelit back rooms…for money. The main room is an immersive art salon that fuses poetry, burlesque, live music, vaudeville, aerials, performance art, visual art, magic and mysticism.
SO WHAT: The evening will feature the burlesque stylings of the Chicago Academy of Burlesque and rap by GLITTER MONEYYY, music by Bowmanville Swing, tarot by The Divine Fox and Opal A Day, and free-hand silhouette portraiture by silhouette artist Nina Nightingale. The hosts will be Professor Pearl Devour and Madame N Gomorrah. Chicago's Poetry Brothel is organized by the local chapter of the Poetry Society of New York, founded in 2007, which has a troupe that tours nationally and has chapters in cities all over the world.

WHAT: A perfect double feature for the Halloween season
SO WHAT: Head over to the Music Box and catch the film that started it all over 40 years ago paired with its newly christened alternate sequel. Both the 1978 and the 2018
