WHAT: The 13th annual culinary celebration!
SO WHAT: Over 430 restaurants take part in Restaurant Week (which is actually 17 days long!), letting everyone have a taste of Chicago’s restaurant scene from Italian, French, Spanish, Chinese and more! You can feast on delicious multi-course menus all across the city and suburbs including over 100 new participants for 2019.

NOW WHAT: These multi-course meals are $24 for brunch or lunch, and $36 and/or $48 for dinner (excluding beverages, tax, and gratuity).

WHAT: A strange trip into the world of Poppy!
SO WHAT: It's a little difficult to get a grasp on Poppy, but trying is absolutely worth it. She's an avant-garde pop/performance artist that is wrapped up in a puzzling array of disciplines including fashion, comic book writing, AI, and more. She'll be stopping by the Vic to share some songs off her latest album
I DISAGREE which sees her expanding her sound beyond genres by blending elements of electronic-infused pop, indie, industrial, shoegaze, downtuned metal, and more. Poppy's incredible soundscapes and even more impressive performances are mind bending, catchy, and an experiential treat that are destined to make for an insane live show!

Jumpsuits for Charity: A Music Frozen Dancing Artshow @ Empty Bottle, 1035 N Western Ave, Noon-4:00pm, 21+
WHAT: Jumpsuits For Charity is back
SO WHAT: Start you Saturday at Empty Bottle and be one of the first to witness the awesome collections of jumpsuits painted by Ray Borchers (Aitis Band), HeatherGabel (HIDE), Joe Schorgl (The Sueves), and Izzy True, all thanks to Music Friendly Art. in addition to the great jumpsuits, the artist will be DJing throughout the afternoon as you enjoy some tasty brews from Goose Island!
NOW WHAT: Entry is free! The jumpsuits will be on display throughout the month at Empty Bottle until they are raffled off to their forever homes (with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Chicago Coalition for the Homeless). You can enter the raffle during this event or take your chances at Music Frozen Dancing on February 22 from 1PM ’til 8PM. WHAT: A night at the Art Institute that will surely stick with you
SO WHAT: Filmmaker Jim Jarmusch and multi-instrumentalist Carter Logan perform together as
SQÜRL, a self-described “enthusiastically marginal rock band from New York City.” Their music is everything you would hope from the pair: odd and loud, yet strangely alluring. For this program SQÜRL will utilize loops, analogue synthesizers, and effected guitars to perform a live/semi-improvised ambient score for four silent films by Dada and Surrealist artist Man Ray.
