Lollapalooza 2022 Will Close Out July at Grant Park with Metallica, Dua Lipa, J.Cole & Green Day
Ah Lollapalooza. After last year's return and everything seemingly coming back into full swing this year, the Lollapalooza lineup announcement leading right into tickets being on sale felt imminent. Such was the case yesterday when official word went came announce that Lollapalooza would be taking over Grant Park on July 28th thru July 31st (it's not gonna stop being four days is it?).

The lineup this year includes headliners Metallica, Dua Lipa, J. Cole, Green Day, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Baby & Kygo. While the undercard features some fantastic acts including 100 Gecs, Denzel Curry, The Marias, Caroline Polachek, Beach Bunny, and tons more; it all feels a little underwhelming for Lollapalooza. In years past tickets sold out virtually in a blink, but as the fest has moved to four days, it has spread out its offerings a little too thin. But with such a large selection of artists playing, there is sure to be something for everyone.
Thankfully tickets prices haven't moved from last year as they are $350 for the four day (seriously, it too many days) general admission pass, $650 for the GA+, $1500 for VIP, and $4200 for Platinum. You can check out the rest of the lineup in the image below.
