SO WHAT: The 2023 Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash is coming to SeatGeek Stadium with some of the most cutting edge and celebrated hip-hop artists around. Seriously, look at this lineup! Nearly every slice of the hip-hop genre is represented, so don’t miss out on this incredible festival! WHAT: Another year of this foodie street festival
SO WHAT: Taste of Randolph brings together some excellent names in Chicago dining, featuring over 16 restaurants exemplary for delectable menus and irresistibly unique flavors, for this delicious event! There will also be a curated a list of bands and musicians (including the biggest names in Chicago house music) performing on two stages to entertain guests on their culinary trip down Randolph. Some of the band highlights include Local H,A-Trak b2b Lee Foss, Coco & Breezy, Phantom Planet, Friko, The Ramona Flowers, Lucky Boys Confusion and many more!

WHAT: 50,000 pounds of pork for the middle of your month
SO WHAT: It’s Ribfest Chicago’s 24th outing! The Northcenter neighborhood festival brings together the community for 50,000 pounds of the best pork around and a fantastic musical lineup including XOCHI, Hello Weekend, RAVIV and many more! Highlights will also include the “Best Ribs” and "People's Choice" competitions and a Kids Square for families to enjoy entertainment, inflatables, games and more.
NOW WHAT: $10 donation per person or $20 per family is requested to benefit the Northcenter community and help support local schools, nonprofit organizations, economic development, and greening efforts.
Chicago African Diaspora International Film Festival @ FACETS, 1517 W. Fullerton, Various Times
WHAT: Discover some increidble films during this three day festival.
SO WHAT: Since its inception, ADIFF Chicago has presented culturally significant films that explore the Black and Indigenous experience, giving a multidimensional voice to often misrepresented realities and peoples. Check out the lineup at their website!

WHAT: An old school experience for the modern age
SO WHAT: Take a trip back in time and head out to a drive-in movie with ChiTown Movies. Ever since the pandemic started and shut down traditional movie screening, a few pop up drive-ins have arrived and ChiTown Movies has persevered, offering up modern movies in this retro setting. Gold Coast Art Fair @ Butler Field in Grant Park, S Lake Shore Dr & E Monroe St , 10am – 5pm
WHAT: 66th year of Gold Coast Art Fair
SO WHAT: Head out to Butler Field in Grant Park to see the work of 250 juried artists from across the country. Artists will be displaying beautiful pieces in a variety of mediums including painting, photography, ceramics, furniture, jewelry, and more. There will also be plenty of art demonstrations, art talks, 10 live acts perfoming live music, delicious food and drinks from 15 food tents and 4 bars, and more throughout the fair!
NOW WHAT: Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 day of, for this fun art fair! Children 12 and under are free. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Chicago Furniture Bank

WHAT: A one day festival celebrating Juneteenth, a day that "honors the date, June 19, 1865, when the last Confederate community of enslaved Americans in Galveston, Texas, received word that they had been freed from bondage."
SO WHAT: Head out to Anna & Frederick Douglass Park and enjoy the wonderful festivities that will include , carnival rides, games, local talent, food and music! Speaking of music, the festival will feature headliners Common, Dead Prez, and Domani!

SO WHAT: University of Chicago Folk Festival might have come and gone but their digital presence is still around, making sure the wonderful music reaches as many people as possible! This past year's performers included The Price Sisters, Brian Conway, Jerron "Blind Boy" Paxton, Ruby John, Sean "Mack" McDonald, and many more!
