Starting the night off with "White Flag", her newest single off of Church of Scars, Briggs gave the audience every ounce of energy she had. It's honestly hard to photograph the singer because she literally runs from one side of the stage to the other, careful to interact with as many people as she can along the way.
In between songs, she would thank the audience for singing along and give credit to those who helped make her album. She mentioned Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons in particular, saying that writing with him was like writing with a "superhuman". Briggs encouraged everyone at the show to donate to GLAAD if they could, saying that her sister decorated the donation box herself. "It's totally unique!" Briggs said with a huge smile.
She ended her incredible show with her biggest hit, "River". Hearing the audience sing along with her seemed almost too much for her to handle, but she kept her composure with a huge smile. It's rare to see an artist in concert who sounds just like they do on their records, but Bishop Briggs sounds even better.

Review: Bishop Briggs Returns to Chicago in Style
Bishop Briggs has one of those voices that could bring a congregation to their knees; her powerhouse vocals and deeply personal lyrics make her one of the best indie female artists in recent years. With the release of her first full-length album, Church of Scars, Briggs is ready to cement her place in indie rock permanently. Although she has played in Chicago many times, she sold out the Metro this time around and was truly spellbound and the number of fans who came to see her. Briggs is an artist who is visibly amazed at her own star power and seems to take no part of it for granted.
